Meet the team

Parklife has been taking family portraits in the parks and gardens of London since 2005. Run by brother and sister team, Phil Wilson and Annabel Bennett it is a true family business.

Phil Wilson - Founder and Photographer

Phil studied fine art at Winchester College of Art and subsequently trained in various studios including the award winning studio Venture. In 2005 Phil moved to London and set up Parklife. “I wanted to get portrait photography out of the stuffy studio environment, kids often feel very uncomfortable in the studio and this results in stiff, posed images (or even worse tears). Outside its their turf and the results speak for themselves. That’s why clients enjoy their Parklife experience and come back year after year.”

Phil’s work has appeared in Tatler, The New York Times Magazine and French newspaper Le Monde.

Annabel Bennett

Annabel has been involved with the business since its outset but has recently joined Parklife as a Partner. Having worked in the City for more than 10 years, Annabel took time out to look after her young family. She is now bringing her business and marketing skills to develop the Parklife brand. Annabel says “I am passionate about the Parklife ethos of simplicity. I think many families shy away from hiring professional photographer as they are concerned it will be time consuming and expensive, yet it is so hard to get good snaps of your own family. Parklife can capture beautiful images, quickly without fuss or tears and for less than you would expect.”

Annabel takes care of client bookings and orders, she also manages marketing and PR for Parklife. You won’t see her behind the camera but she often assists at shoots and undertakes client viewings. Email her at annabel@parklifephotography.co.uk
